Lil Whiskey, the cat that went missing one year ago has been reunited with its owners this morning. A jogger noticed the recognizable dots on its tail and called Animal Control who identified the cat as Lil Whiskey, the most famous cat of Nomen.
Lil Whiskey has been the mascot of Nomen’s finest whiskey brand: Lioness, until she disappeared one year ago. The owners were devastated and thought someone had stolen their lovely cat. They had lost their hope and were prepared to offer § 1000 for the return of Lil Whiskey. Nobody called their number and they were ready to accept that their precious cat would never return home.
Until today. Their morning started as usual until they heard the doorbell at around 8 o’clock in the morning. A member of Animal Control brought the cat safely home and the owners could not believe their eyes. Their Lil Whiskey had returned home at last.
It is quite remarkable how Nick Wells, the passerby, recognized Lil Whiskey. “So I started my usual morning jog and about 30 minutes in, I noticed a cat. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but then I noticed the cat’s tail. It had these very recognizable white dots on its tail and I remember it from the Lioness commercials and pictures everywhere. I knew it had to be Lil Whiskey, so I called Animal Control while I tried to keep Lil Whiskey calm. They identified the cat and brought her home” he said.
It is unclear if Lil Whiskey will return as a mascot for Lioness whiskey. The owners would like to spoil her and keep her safely at home at all costs. She is not in a rush to return in front of a camera.
